Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Minimum = 1ms, Maximum = 1ms, Average = 1ms Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 2, Lost = 2 (50% loss),Īpproximate round trip times in milli-seconds: The pages on the web are taking a LONG time to load it seems, just like when it was N before.

Got that back OK, even with the router set to N only. Well, this printer IS listed as N, why should I need it running in G?Īnyway, I unplugged it, and it lost its IP address. How can I get the printer BACK to the initial DEFAULT settings? That is as if it was never turned on before and as initially shipped? I want to get it back to operating in N speed. Now I can't even UNCHECK the use G box, it doesn't show? I can see use B, but nothing gets me back to the initial screen I saw before. So, I reset the ROUTER back to N only but of course the printer is almost useless again. BUT the connection to my wife's computer dropped in HALF!!!! Basically if you put a G device on the wireless LAN all devices go to G. I went to the router settings and set it all to auto which allowed G devices and set the bands to auto as well. ALL the way down the page I saw COMPATIBILITY settings. I used the web interface on the printer and went to the NETWORKING tab, 802.11 selection and the ADVANCED tab. All units are in the same room and within 10 feet of the router I should add. My router since I only had before Wireless N devices (and this printer is supposedly Wireless N) I expected it to work well within the network wirelessly, was set to have the Network Mode to N Only and the Band to Wide - 40 MHZ channel, and I used the Wide and Standard channels that gave the best speed on the XP system. There are two ways I can make it work 'correctly' but neither is desireable. With that in mind, I've been able to make it work, BUT. So the problem must be the Wireless N connection. Everything works, no delays, no scan errors, and I can print/scan immediately after each other. I know the printer works fine as I used it via USB to my computer. Only other system on the network, besides the printer that is ON (two others are off) is an XP Media Center SP3 system wirelessly connected via a LinkSys WMP300N wireless adapter.

64 bit OS with a 1GB connection wired to the router. Hard wired to that is this system, Win7 Home Prem. Right now, cable modem to a LinkSys WRT350N router. Printing, although it does work, takes forever to start, I'm talking minutes here.Same happens when the Solution Center is open, goes off-line it seems randomly and then in a few minutes comes back. The front panel goes off as the power setting is set to 5 min., but comes back on randomly.

  • Scan's are hit or miss, some are incomplete and then the connection is lost, others complete, and some do not start, just say someone else is using the printer (not the case, only installed in this Win7 machine.
  • I just got this printer, it connects to my router fine but it has some problems.
